Recently, shipping lines expect to experience total operational disruption in the first months of 2025 due to major changes in the alliance network.
In response to this situation, the shipping lines have announced an increase in the Emergency Operating Surcharge (EOS) from Northern Europe (including the UK and Scandinavian region) to the US, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas from January 27 until further notice.
